River Rock Bed with Boulder Edging in Kalamazoo

We've just wrapped up a fantastic landscaping project in Kalamazoo, transforming an overgrown area into a stunning river rock bed. Initially, the space was choked with ivy and thick vegetation which required extensive cleanup. We believe in doing things right from the ground up, so removing all the old growth was essential.

Once the area was prepped, we installed high-quality landscape fabric - a foundational piece for any durable landscape feature. We then added approximately 10 yards of river rock, chosen not just for its visual appeal, but for its practicality. River rock provides excellent drainage and a streamlined appearance that transforms spaces into low-maintenance marvels.

The final flourish was our boulder-style edging. It frames the river rock bed beautifully, creating a natural border that looks perfect along any fence or garden boundary. We're particularly proud of how this project balances aesthetics and upkeep, offering a long-term impact with minimal maintenance required.
